The Miracle
Decades of a life I’ve filled to the brim,
learning what’s important and what is not.
Time brought, with clarity no night can dim,
the reverent gratitude that I’ve got.

Each moment’s price was worth it’s cost,
though most lessons I never requested.
Foolishly clinging to what needed to be lost,
I always acquired more than I divested.

Through painful times and days of fun,
I collected fragments of truth every day.
The truth gathering job will never be done,
but here’s what’s I’ve amassed on the way;

Some friends are not friends, merely actors,
friends and foes will come packaged together.
Guard your heart and mind above all factors.
Battle through your life’s inclement weather.
***************************************
Foul weather will come, as it must come to all.
Some barren deserts you’ll surely pass through.
Listen to your soul, strive to heed it’s call,
for it will always be whispering to you.
**************************************
There’ll be times when you can’t keep moving,
when such times come, surrender, be still.
Your worth on earth, it needs no proving.
Store up no hate, neither harbor ill will.
Allow time to do nothing in each week,
even if granted but one single hour.
Never stop learning, lifelong we should seek,
our true selves and love’s transforming power.

All you’ve ever wished for is waiting,
so allow yourself to believe it will be.
Each atom is energy and always creating,
the future you and one day you will see…
all that is standing in anyone’s way,
is our doubt, hatred, worry and fear.
This is the world we’re given this day,
attract peacefulness and all joy to you near.

As you are, so shall you also attract,
physics has always operated the same.
Your wish exists already, in fact,
ever has it been calling your name.

The world tries to negate your power,
but only you can truly render it inert.
Plant wisely, for seeds sown will flower.
Discard weeds and thorns that one day will hurt.

Make peace with all life that’s existed,
then focus all your intentional thought.
Erase all the wrongs you have listed,
to gain the peace inside that can’t be bought.

Forgive others, let go of your own sins.
When worry visits, let it pass on through.
With each ending, a new life then begins.
Many beginnings right now await you.

You are one of a kind, a unique life,
never will another copy of you ever be .
A cell formed on the blade of a sharp knife,
became you, this limitless possibility.

Change the outlook of one complex brain,
which has power we can barely conceive.
It split the atom and invented the plane.
Things now exist we can scarcely believe.

You’ll always receive just as you give,
so share your most beautiful honest parts.
Choose every day how you shall live,
and pay close attention, listen to your hearts.

There is so much nobody as yet knows.
If it has been thought then it could be true.
The miracle of you, ever this treasured gift grows.
